Our philanthropy is paediatric oncology research. Nationally, Delta Delta Delta supports St. Jude Chidren’s Research Hospital and locally, the Canada Alpha chapter supports the Hospital for Sick Children.
To support our cause, we host two philanthropy events during the school year. In fall, we host an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Night and in spring, a Virgin Cocktail Party. During the 2010-2011 school year, we have raised over $4,000 for pediatric oncology research.
In 2006, Delta Delta Delta fraternity pledged to raise $10 million in 10 years to build a Patient Care Floor in the Chili’s Care Center. In 2010, we completed our goal 4 years ahead of time. Tri Delta then pledged a new, more aggressive fundraising goal, to raise $15 million in 5 years to name the Speciality Clinic.
